About

Having spent my entire life in Cincinnati, Ohio (USA), I could not help but take an interest in the marine invertebrate fossils that make the rocks beneath me. By joining the Dry Dredgers, our local fossil club based at Univ. of Cincinnati., I was able to make my fossil collecting productive. Before this, I was just entertaining myself. Now the hundreds, perhaps thousands, of hours I spend in the field are used for paleontological research by both amateurs and professionals. The Dry Dredgers have provided a venue for collaboration between amateur fossil collectors and professional paleontologists. More on that later. Now I aspire to be among a growing number of publishing amateurs. I have co-authored several professional papers. My goals are to continue sharing my site notes and fossils with professional and graduate-level researchers and also benefit from their knowledge and assistance with my projects.
