The images show large spines coming off but it’s possible your specimen is a bit more worn. If you could upload another image showing the inside of the shell we can possibly confirm my idea!

my shell is complete with the bottom attached like a clam. If you look at the second picture it shows a front view of it smiling at you. Its funny that i even found it because it looked like a white clay ball and i stepped on it. Most of the fossils in my creek are on top of the clay layer. I dug too deep that day.

4 years, 11 months ago4 years, 11 months agoI find alot of these oval bones or teeth in all sizes. They all terminate fairly the same. The terminal ends have arched rings like a woodgrained rainbow. Any help would be awesome.
