@mason-hintermeister thanks for the help! I added the formation and its geologic age – let me know if you want any more info for research grade!

Ok, so would it be c. leucas? Or are there other bull species that would be in play? And I am having trouble figuring out which formation this would be – it seems to be one of the ones from the cretaceous dredge that happened last year as I do not have any from previous years, if that helps?

@bill-heim would Carharhinus gibbesi work better then?

@mason-hintermeister any ideas for this one? I am looking for what the location is but wasn’t sure if there is anything with shape/color that would help narrow down. it would be Purse State Park MD, Holden Beach NC, or Edisto Beach SC.

@bill-heim how about Sphyrna zygaena (Linneaus, 1758) for this one?

Carcharhinus gibbesi (Woodward, 1889) seems to be a good match based on this journal article:

@bill-heim, yes, I am asking is it striatolamia? The taxon wizard is auto-populating the family field to mitsukurinidae when you seach striatolamia, so all of my past striatolamias likely have that set as the family.

@bill-heim thanks for the clarification! I seem to have had a few troubles between hammerheads and carcharhinus, what should I look for to distinguish them in the future?
