It is extremely worn so it is hard to say for sure, especially given that the area you found it in has really mixed up stratigraphy (you might be able to figure out a more exact age by using the app Rockd). It is likely an invertebrate from the paleozoic, perhaps a straight-shelled cephalopod, or a partial crinoid stalk.

trilobite olenoid from the species and definitely a male, the females were more wider

Nice find @carol-payne! Is this from the Salem in Page County or Roanoke County? That will help determine the exact age and the rock formation. It is definitely a hashplate of brachiopods, crinoids, and other marine fossils from sometime during the paleozoic.
