Hi @clair-m, I agree with Sam, this is a fish spine. Unfortunately, I don’t know they exact species. In the Classification field, you can put Class Osteichthyes (that’s the scientific name for bony fish). Thanks for sharing your find!

Common – Bull Shark, Kingdom – Animalia, Phylum – Chordata, Class – Chondrichthyes, Order – Carcharhiniformes, Family – Carcharhidae, Genus – Carcharhinus, Specific Epithet – leucas, Author – (J. P. Müller & Henle), Epoch – Pliocene (the rest above should fill in). This is a lower tooth.
