@smudge-smith no, scutes are diomond shaped, thinner, and have a ridge in the middle. Also no pattern of holes.

Hi @d-smalt, could you provide more information about where you found this in Colonial Heights? There is a lot going on geologically in the area and knowing which rock unit it came from would really help in figuring out what it is.
