David Hanes has contributed specimen mFeM 68299 to myFOSSIL!

    • This is so cool, @David-Hanes. It’s a little loosely coiled for Discoscaphites, but I’m not super well versed in ammonites. @Jbauer, do we know any ammonite people?

    • Sam,
The PBDB Navigator had several data points on Baculities species found throughout Prentiss County/Booneville, MS, and north past Corinth, MS.
The Baculities species have been found mainly from the Coffee Sand Formation, dated to the Campanian in the Late Cretaceous.
I found Specimens 68299 and 68292 at the Tolar Stevens site (dated to the Campanian/Maastrichtian), at which I also found several partial Baculities specimens of much poorer quality.
