7 years, 6 months ago7 years, 6 months agoI have excavated fossils in a variety of locations, including Lusk (WY), Ashfall (NE), a cave in the Bahamas, among other locales. My question to @dbutler would be – what range of sieve sizes would you recommend for an amateur who wishes to do dry-sieving at a site?

I just set one up for DPS. Is the site open enough for me to offer it as an option for my youth group? We have about 55 on the roster, but there are lots of siblings. If so, I can create an educational outreach group for them as well.
-
Great! Thanks for creating a DPS group, Tynessa! I believe the site is open enough for k-12 participants. Just have them go to the landing page and fill out the registration form with a parent. Then a login will be created and sent to the registrant email address. Thanks!

should be… One of our club members is working on a book AND taking good, quality digital photos…

Ok Suzanne, maybe that club member can help us with his expertise to make the tutorial as good as possible. With all the informations needed but still focused and simple.
