I just set one up for DPS. Is the site open enough for me to offer it as an option for my youth group? We have about 55 on the roster, but there are lots of siblings. If so, I can create an educational outreach group for them as well.
-
Great! Thanks for creating a DPS group, Tynessa! I believe the site is open enough for k-12 participants. Just have them go to the landing page and fill out the registration form with a parent. Then a login will be created and sent to the registrant email address. Thanks!

Suzanne – do you think that there is need for a special forum about digitizing? I think there is, and would like to start and administrate one. What do you think? What do the others think – especially our teacher friends and participants of the 3D imaging workshop? ๐

Ronny – I definitely think there is a need for a special forum on digitization. One of our club members is working on a book on taking good, quality digital photos has proven to be quite challenging for him.

should be… One of our club members is working on a book AND taking good, quality digital photos…
-
Ok Suzanne, maybe that club member can help us with his expertise to make the tutorial as good as possible. With all the informations needed but still focused and simple.

species is mississippiensis, author is Cuvier. You can use picture processing software (probably some came free with your computer, tablet or phone) to correct the brightness and contrast which would bring out more detail in the images.
