    @llundgren Hi Lisa here is the tutorial on how to make a floating sifter for fossil hunting (by Gail & Paul Fazzina)

    Supplies:
    (1) 6′ X 1″ PVC
    (4) 1″ PVC 90 Degree Elbows
    PVC Glue
    (16) Plastic Tie Wraps
    (1) 24″ x 24″ sheet of 1/4″ rectangular galvanized metal cloth
    (1) 6′ pool noodle
    (1) 6′ length of nylon rope

    Procedure:
    1) Cut the PVC pipe into (4) 18″ long pieces.
    2) Cut the noodle into (4) 18″ long pieces.
    3) Slide the noodles pieces over PVC pipe pieces
    4) Connect PVC pipe pieces using PVC elbows to create a square shape and PVC glue.
    5)Cut a 2″ square notch into all 4 corners of you 24″ x 24″ sheet of metal cloth.
    6) Bend all 4 sides of the metal cloth to form an open top rectangular box that has an 18″ x 18″ bottom and (4) 2″ x 18″ sides.
    7) Tie the rope to one corner of the sifter.
    8) Sit back and enjoy the moment. You just built your own floating fossil sifter.
