About
I am a retired college Professor (Environmental Safety) who joined the Anza Borrego Desert State Park Paleontology Society several years ago and studied to become a certified paleontology volunteer. As a volunteer, I spent several hundred hours participating in field trips and the preparation of field specimens in the lab. Following the discovery of a fossil horse tooth on one survey, I acquired a passion for ancient horses that led me to research the subject and develop a one hour illustrated lecture that I deliver, on a volunteer basis, to public groups.
