Do you think you might be able to provide some location data on where you found it? County or town will do just fine. Location data could also can help me direct you to some really fossiliferous areas.

It’s hard to examine the grain from the photos, but I believe it is a crystalline rock like quartzite, a calcite-infused sedimentary rock, or a cryptocrystalline rock like chert. Hope this helps!
