2 months, 1 week ago2 months, 1 week agoNever found a fossil here before, but often very beautiful minerals. Natives roamed this reservation a long time ago. But 3 same deposits on it. Not sure if mineral deposits or possible fossil? Any ideas? #collectionsite

8 months, 2 weeks ago8 months, 2 weeks agoTough to tell, post a pic when it’s dry looks just like rock. To post more than one you have to click the “post to myfossil” or something like that – it’s a checkbox – when you originally post, and then post the single photo and then go back and edit to add more

Hello there it is difficult to see. May I suggest that you take some plasticine or some funny putty and make some impressions of the holes. I have had some really nice surprises. Sometimes the fossils have eroded out and the details on the impressions are quite accurate.
That’s a good idea! I think I can find some silly putty. Thanks! @lynette-luff
Nothing here is easily identifiable as a fossil, however you should be in a place with Jurassic sandstone. As far as I am aware, it is not particularly fossiliferous but fossils are a possible find so keep an eye out!
