The orientation of the teeth on the dental plate lead me to think that it’s part of the Aetobatus genus. Any idea what species it may be? A photograph of the other side of the plate may be helpful here. -Fauve

4 years, 8 months ago4 years, 8 months agoHi, @jacob-wall – What identifying features are you using here to figure out it is a horse? I don’t think the species is correct as that species is extant and I don’t think it extends back in time very far. I can tag in some local mammalian experts to take a look.
