1 year, 1 month ago1 year, 1 month agoYes I have one more picture from a little further away I’ll post, but it looked like the sucker part of an octopus arm. As if it pressed it’s arm into the mud. If it’s natural i would be shocked honestly.

@jay-clapoll on first pass this appears to be a naturally weathered rock surface, but could you take some pictures from different angles?

Yes I have one more picture from a little further away I’ll post, but it looked like the sucker part of an octopus arm. As if it pressed it’s arm into the mud. If it’s natural i would be shocked honestly.

@jay-clapoll It is still hard to make out, but compare with online pictures of Sigillaria and Lepidodendron which are possible finds in rock from your area.
