Tube worm fossil. Check against images of Hydroides or similar on Google images.
-
They could be serpulid worm tubes, but I think they look a little more like small barnacles to my eyes. It will be easier to tell in person, compare with online photos as @lynette-luff says.

Looks like an astragalus bone. Ankle bone possibly from a cow. Color really can’t determine age in this case.

I agree with @james-preston on both counts

I want to hazard a guess that this could be a form of jasper known as crocodile stone. You might want to compare your specimen to images in Google Images.
-
It’s slag glass. God it’s pretty! And yeah it seems to have a bit of jasper mixed in
-
Wow. That is so pretty. How grand.
-
Thanks I have found some amazing stuff at the beach

Photo 1. Lots of bivalve shells with one or two other forms mxed in.
-
Photo 2. A mix of micro fossils with mostly crinoid stems.
-
Photo 3. Mostly imprints of shell I believe. To see what they really looked like a goid sized dollop of Plasticine or silly putty could be pressed onto the specimen. When you pull it away carefully you are going to be pleasantly surprised at the result. It would be great if you could upload a photo.
-
Photo 4. The netlike shapes are a form of bryozoan. Left top may be a partial horn coral. There also seems to be part of a crinoid stem visible..
-
use macrostrat.org and click geologic map. Search the nearest city to where you got these, then see if you can find the actual spot. You can also use the rock’d app on site if there is service.

Stephanie Current posted an image in the group What is it? from the myFOSSIL app 2 months, 3 weeks ago
2 months, 3 weeks ago2 months, 3 weeks agoUpdate: I took this to the local museum and I was advised to find a university that will have a serious look at it, he said it is organic and believes it needs a professional to look at it to tell me more. #fossil
-
Im wondering if this could be a coprolite.
-
Unfortunately, this is not a fossil
-
So I took this to my local museum and they suggested I find a university and or a geologist because he felt as I do that this is something of organic material there are visible bones it’s just very hard to capture in photos what it looks like in person. So I am emailing and calling a few so I will update more when I get to the bottom or at l…[Read more]

This does look like petrified wood. There is also something known as Rhyolites. They are not petrified wood but can be sand clasts or other materials. When cut they dont show growth rings.
-
@lynette-luff thanks for the info! I added another pic – could the be the growth rings?
-
@lynette-luff (this is side view)
-
growth rings are usually thinner. This is a conundrum.

Pic 1. This looks like sponge. Pic 2. Looks like tabular coral. Pic. 3. & 4. Pic. 5 top middle . Egg shaped structure with holes. Maybe a different kind of sponge. Fascinating specimen.
-
All 5 pics are of the same specimen. I identify them as top, bottom or backside, and the views of the edges.
-
It’s all one big coral specimen, maybe with some matrix on it

This is probably another tabulate coral kind. You have some interesting specimens.
Fenestrate Bryzoa perhaps?
