I would love to coordinate. I know Cam Muskelly is interested in recruiting for articles and writing himself. If I can get some wordpress education (I’ve only used Constant Contact for content layout.) I would be more than happy to assist with that. I, however, am not much in the editing dept I’m afraid.
Thanks @rboessenecker! Definitely the close ups of the attached photo look very similar. What threw me was the flattened or pinched appearance. And it’s so small in circumference I never would’ve thought whale! 🙂
It’s hard to pick one. I’ve made friends and contacts I hope to have the rest of my life. That was my first time in Florida so I thought it was amazing! And getting to meet Gordon Hubbell and seeing his collection was something I got to check off my bucket list! It changed the way I look at what I love to do. Instead of just collecting fossils I get to have a more scientific objective.
As a follow up question to Rachel’s webinar, Â the question about foam turning yellow with fossil storage… Yeah it’s an eye sore for display purposes but I want to make sure it isn’t harming my fossils either. Thank you! Â Fantastic webinar!
I am not a professional paleo but have faced discrimination as a woman in collecting. Being treated as unequal or not as knowledgeable. I’ve had to fight, and still fight, to be taken seriously. I can’t even imagine what you ladies go through in a professional environment. I support you all!

1. How to you think the internet and social media have effected currentfossil collecting and the fossil world (positive and negative aspect)?
