4 years, 7 months ago4 years, 7 months agoHi, @justin-jones, I would agree with @jbauer that it is a ray dental plate. The coloration seems a bit off for this area, but judging by the wear (which happens a lot in the family Myliobatidae) and due to the size I think Myliobatidae is the correct call.

4 years, 7 months ago4 years, 7 months agoHi, @justin-jones – what do you mean by conglomerate? It is hard to tell if there are fossils in this or if it’s a conglomerate from the view of the specimen but do you mean a rock made up of pieces of other rock? Thanks, Jen
