8 years, 7 months ago8 years, 7 months agoI was very excited when fossil enthusiasts came together the second week in August to collect late Eocene and Oligocene fossils from classic localities in the Nebraska badlands. I was particularly happy when some really cool specimens of the fossil horse Mesohippus were found.

9 years, 2 months ago9 years, 2 months agothe extinct Hemipristis species H. serra and H. curvatus are chronospecies, H. curvatus for Eocene, H. serra for Oligocene-Miocene, the tooth presented here is for sure H. serra!!! because you will find no eocene shark teeth in the bone valley formation
