3 years, 8 months ago3 years, 8 months agoThe uppermost rock is possibly a tree or bone, fossilized with sand, that turned to an Agatite- type rock.

3 years, 8 months ago3 years, 8 months agoFossilized bone fragments, the two middle look like water creatures teeth, maybe a shark. The outside ones look teeth of a small land dwelling carnivore, or maybe juvenile larger creature. The two small pieces in the middle are probably bone (if it sticks to the tongue it is bone).

3 years, 8 months ago3 years, 8 months agoThe one on the bottom right looks like an old hip or shoulder ball joint. The other two might be related, but are broken and worn afterwards. It will be bone if it sticks to your tongue.

@lisa-craig from this picture, this appears to be a rock! But a better picture might reveal a fossil for ID!

@lisa-craig a clearer photo would be useful for ID, but @mackenzie-smith might be able to help!
-
@lisa-craig Since it was found near Stephenville it is possible that it is coral since the Cretaceous Trinity Group is a marine deposit. Wood can still wash out to oceans so it’s still possible that it’s wood. Can you get a picture of one of the ends? That would help with ID. Thanks!
