How are you cleaning it? I might try it on some of my fossils.
@marion-marshall Very nice specimen!
Thanks! I am alternating vinegar soaks, baking soda soaks, rotary tool (various tips), and will finish with light air abrasion. I’ll coat it with Paraloid, put a teeny bit of gloss sealer on the “showy” bits (over the Paraloid so it remains removable) and call it done!

BTW – I’m currently available if someone has an item they’d like prepped – also, I’ll never have pricing this low. Every time I prep – then sell a piece, the price goes up. I have all the chems, glues, acids, pyrite killer, sealers, rotary tool, pro paleotech air abrasion tool … I’m only missing the impact engraver. I do exceptional, detailed work. I’m an artist – so I have a good eye for which bit to sacrifice to show a better piece or just to make the entire display seem less “loud”.
I ordered the B72 from an Etsy seller as all the museum supply shops are OOS. I got pure 99% alcohol and pure acetone off Amazon.

See the finished prep posted tonight
