1 month ago1 month ago@sammymiller funny you should say that. I just washed it with water. But it was found in the vicinity of native American artifacts, they liked strange things. They could have traded for it, it could have come from anywhere. But I didn’t see any evidence of “carving”.

As you said, it looks like an elephant and I know water, sand, ect. can erase carve markings over years and make it look smooth, and polished, its just really interesting.

1 month ago1 month agoExtremely well preserved coral with extended polyps & some other animal on top. Looks like a miniature elephant, what is it? Could identification date this more precisely than 470-270 million years old?
