2 years, 7 months ago2 years, 7 months agoSiliceous limestone specimen. Cut at the agate vein. Currently grinding down to the agate. Precut specimen was 50 lbs. left half is 20”, right half about 16”.

All of them look like simple rocks until that first pressure washing then you start seeing some details that get you excited. I set those aside from the others and soak them in…[Read more]

2 years, 8 months ago2 years, 8 months agoI only started hounding and prepping 4 months ago. I’m learning as I go. This was the very first cut I made on a specimen I suspected to be AGATIZED coral. I became hooked ever since! I didn’t realize how difficult it would be to obtain a mirror polish! Getting better at this. #fossil

very well could be mineralized dino bone I have specimens that look the same with the nodules and color I thought alot of it was jasper but then I found some that a thought was jasper but on other side had bone structure also corprolite dino dung has same nodule patterns I like the deep reds and hues of color
