Matt Griffin has contributed specimen mFeM 133926 to myFOSSIL!

    • These are some lovely Silurian fossils! They seem to have been dolomitized, ie preserved in a mineral called dolomite. They are marine critters, looks like mostly brachiopods (AKA Lamp Shells) and bryozoans (A colonial organism), keep an eye out for trilobites and crinoids (Sea Lillies) too. To make this research grade, you could go on the app or website Rockd and find exactly where you found it and tell me if it is Laurel Dolomite or Waldron shale and then post a picture of this specimen with a scale (ruler or coin will do). Tag me if you do this! Nice find again.
