Hey Matt, epic find! This is an absolutely gorgeous gastropod, I believe Platyceras. You can put that into the Taxon Wizard and it will fill in higher taxonomy. For lithostratigraphy you can put Michigan Formation and for geochronology you can put Mississipian period (I got that from looking at the location on a geologic map). At first glance, this looks like a brachiopod (lamp-shell)! These were particularly prevalent during the Paleozoic, though survive to modern times.

Hey Matt! This is a nice spiriferid brachiopod, so you can add order spiriferida to the taxon wizard. The geochronology is Mississipian and the lithostratigraphy is michigan formation. Thanks for uploading!
