Sorry I can’t help. I do vertebrates, particularly sharks. Others here can help much more than I can.

I see two things here- one is the imprint of a brachiopod shell. The other I’m not sure about, it’s definitely some kind of fossil, I’m just not sure what because it doesn’t have a strong resemblance to anything and it appears very worn. My only guess is a very eroded crinoid calyx, but that is still just a guess.
-
Another possibility for the second fossil is that it is a worn Pseudoatrypa brachiopod.

Possibly some brachiopod shells?
-
Greetings @michael-mittelstaedt ! I agree with @daniel-park . I would and that these appear to be spiriferid brachiopod external molds.
-
Thank you @daniel-park and @matthew-gramling both!

Possibly horn coral or a piece of a Crinoid stem
-
crinoid stem fragment
-
Looks like a fossilized shark vertebra inside a rock.
-
Now that it’s been mentioned, I do see a resemblance to a shark vertebra. Maybe @bill-heim could help confirm.
-
Not a shark vert

2 years, 11 months ago2 years, 11 months agoWhat is it? New to MyFossil and hope this doesn’t end up a double post. Interested in any ideas about what this is – my 5 yr old son found it in Northern Michigan #fossil
-
l do see the resemblance to a jaw, but I’ll have to say it is coincidental.
-
anyways, tell your son he does have a good eye for spotting inconsistencies in rock that might turn out to be fossils. 👍🏻
-
Thanks for taking a look @leonardo-miranda
-
could be a jaw
-
Welcome dude and those are a part of a jawbone
