      also, I’m not sure if the object in the bottom is a brachiopod, or half of a horn coral cross section.

      @leonardo-miranda you’re probably right about the horn coral, but I’m still not sure about the coral/bryzoan thing. It could be either one. But whether or not the other fossil is a horn coral or a brachiopod, both only live in saltwater marine environments. While bryzoans can live in oceans, they are also found in freshwater areas, unlike coral.…[Read more]

      I’m pretty sure the only fresh water bryozoan are soft bodied. Most geologists would say marine upon seeing Bryozoa. All corals however need salt water so the horn coral in the bottom confirms it. The main horn coral is in cross section so you’re looking inside of it and seeing the septa.
