It’s hard to tell the specific rock type and formation it might have came from but there are marine rocks in the region, maybe quartzite. Hi, @patrick-cummings-2 , I don’t think this is a fossil but rather mineral cleavage planes that are cleaved in such a way it looks like it may be a fossil. Have you checked out a geologic map of the area? There are a lot of igneous bodies in the region.

I don’t know too much about the geology of the area. Maybe a cephalopod? The Eastern Pacific has several curved cephalopods.
@patrick-cummings-2 and @mackenzie-Smith I’m not sure that is a fossil. It looks more like mineral cleavage planes to me.
