Graduated 1974 from University of Washington with BA in Earth Science Education. Completed Masters degree in Geology from University of Washington in 2001. Thesis on “Paleoclimate interpretation from the Early Oligocene Willamette Flora, Eugene, Oregon” Retired middle school teacher. Current research includes Eocene flora of Fossil Basin, Wyoming and floristic change across the K-T boundary in eastern Montana.
