3 years, 7 months ago3 years, 7 months agoUg. So I assumed it was the Moenkopi because of info on a trails website, but the geological map of the Santa Clara quadrangle says it is Shinarump. So I guess that was the same member that I found my other specimen in, miles away.

3 years, 7 months ago3 years, 7 months agoShinarump conglomerate. Thought it was a lycopod at first, but others have suggested it is a descaled araucarioxylon. What do you guys think? Either way, it’s a really detailed specimen.
