just saw the news that you are leaving the project. FOSSIL will loose it’s all connecting element … sad for the project but hey congrats for your new position. I know that you didn’t liked the Florida weather same like I did and now you can enjoy you new “habitat”. Congrats again and thousand wishes from Germany. Best wishes to your husband as well … now you can start growing a family 😉

Hi, @rleder! Yes, it’s true, I landed a permanent position with the University of Kansas. I wish that the timing had worked out better for FOSSIL’s benefit, but everyone seems to understand that a permanent position outweighs a term position. I am excited for the new opportunity and I must admit that I’m pretty thrilled to go back to a location with four distinct seasons (they get snow there, yay!). Many thanks for the congratulations! Hope you, Sabrina, and the kids are doing very well – I miss you guys. My husband and I will have to plan a trip to Leipzig after getting settled in Kansas 🙂
