searched it up on Google your right it is singopora coral
out of question is it rare

Shanklin Iow looks like an amazing place to find fossils… I’m reading that south UK crosses over several periods, so best guess is Carboniferous or possibly Jurassic.

these were scattered on the beach at Shanklin. the Isle of wight is great for every fossil. if corals are a favourite then Shepherds chine I recommend where holocystis elegans is a lovely and is an easy-to-find fossil. this was in one of my earlier posts. if you want me to tell you about a place on the iow just let me know on one of my posts and I’ll tell you everything about the area.
