Except for the very earliest echiniderms, all the others have five segments. Im not convinced that this is an echinoderm. What size is this?

Ive been checking. Could this be the partial cast of the inside of a brachiopod. The pattern seems to match.

6 months, 1 week ago6 months, 1 week agoI mistakenly said not a concretion but I meant not coral, it’s possible that it could be a concretion, but I have identified several parts…two eurypterids, either fighting or mating. Photos do these guys no justice lol. I will continue to post updates.

Indeed, there are a number of specimens where crystals are found growing inside shell. This is an interesting specimen.Congratulations.
