    I am located in Maryland near the bay frequently find bone fragments some partially fossilized, some complete and some not at all but preserved in a mud flat. I try to go back and collect as much bone in the same area in hopes I might happen on to more information and clues

    More examples of silica type stones from alluvial seeds from Md. Eastern Shore. They look kind of like teeth but are definitely silica

    Any idea what this is? It is made of silica so possible petrification? Found in alluvial sed of Eastern Shore Md
