1 year, 5 months ago1 year, 5 months agoCan someone please help me ID? Found in Purse State Park, MD, so Paleocene. Notably bigger than 95% of teeth I found in Purse, this one is 0.75 in/1.9 cm wide. Root is wrong for a sand tiger and large rounded cusplets lead me away from goblin shark. I though mackerel (cretolamna) but the other cretolamna I found were angled and much smaller. Any…[Read more]

1 year, 11 months ago1 year, 11 months agoFound at Flag Ponds, MD. At first I thought were shark teeth but now thinking crab claws. One on right maybe a tooth? All approx 1/2 inch (1.27 cm). Any ideas?

1 year, 11 months ago1 year, 11 months agoPlease help me ID. Found at Flag Ponds, MD, I assume Miocene Era. 3/4 inch (1.9 cm) long and 1/2 inch (1.3 cm) wide at root. Not much root to speak of. Back is flat and front is rounded.
