Found at Flag Ponds, MD. At first I thought were shark teeth but now thinking crab claws. One on right maybe a tooth? All approx 1/2 inch (1.27 cm). Any ideas?

Please help me ID. Found at Flag Ponds, MD, I assume Miocene Era. 3/4 inch (1.9 cm) long and 1/2 inch (1.3 cm) wide at root. Not much root to speak of. Back is flat and front is rounded.

I found one just like that a few miles south of there last year and I was told it was a carcharhinus tooth.
