Is it “heavy”? If you tap on it with a piece of metal is it more high pitch and a little reverb/ting sounding (like a rock) or more muffled or flat (like plastic or wood)? Heavy and tingy point toward fossil, light and flat sounding is more likely bone.

Might be partially fossilized too. The edge looks a little polished in a way I wouldn’t expect a bone to do, but it’s hard to tell in pictures.

Kinda looks like a vertebrae bone or a leg bone but yes it looks fossilized
