6 years, 2 months ago6 years, 2 months agoI just learned of myFossil.org. What a great idea! I was looking for someplace to put information about a fossil I prepped years ago. I am giving it away to a friend who lost her collection in the fires in California last year. This is a great way for me to keep a scrapbook record of my fossil.

Hi @william-ball, thanks for joining our online paleontology community! One of the goals of myFOSSIL is to help users build a digital catalog of their collection, so it’s great to hear you’ll be using it to keep a record of your fossil!

Really excellent specimen @william-ball. Did you prep this yourself? Do you have another image with a scale so our curation team can verify your dimensions? Talk to you soon, Jen

I did. It was my first attempt at it.

Okay! Thanks for letting me know. I’ll note that in the specimens ‘field notes’ section just for good measure!
