Is it necessary to upload my photo with a location?
Not at all! If you don’t feel comfortable adding the location to a photo, then you can tap “do not include location”. This removes all traces of your GPS location from the fossil.
Do I have to use my GPS location to upload a fossil? What if I want to include the location but I’m uploading at home?
You can also type in your location! This helps if you don’t want to give away a super specific location or begin uploading your fossils after you have left the fossil locality.
