Ryan Cessnun commented on their own Fossil #022348 7 years ago
7 years ago7 years agoDoes anyone know what this belongs to, it is a well formed head and you can see the scales of the skin and small teeth along the jawline? It has a small pronounced bump on the forehead.
From the picture, it just looks like a large rock. Do you have any better pictures? Close ups, etc?
Idk how to add more pictures to this response. Will try to add more to the fossil page.
If you open this Fossil #022348 page and click on the “Manage Images” button on the right, you can add more pictures to the page that way. Thanks!
This looks like a big chert nodule, the kind often found in dolomites and dolomitic limestone. Such nodules can take on all kinds of shapes and colors. Apart from that, the thing looks like a head sculpture of Richard Nixon.
