From the Pacific to Peru, our anthropologists document the diversity and accomplishments of humankind—and you can be a part of creating that record.
Join collections head Jamie Kelly for a behind-the-scenes look at anthropology objects and a quick tutorial on how to transcribe museum records. Then, you’ll dive into the action yourself, transcribing invaluable information and making cultural collections accessible to people across the globe.
We welcome all explorers to this event, but activities are best for those ages 14 and up. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. This event is free with advance registration and light refreshments are provided. Space is limited.
