    I didn’t plan ahead and didn’t buy the special glasses for looking at the eclipse.  I went fossil collecting that day and knew I shouldn’t look up so I looked down.  This is what the gravel parking lot near Greens Mill Run, NC looked like at the time of the eclipse.
