I hope it’s allowed to post fossils I bought from other people.

Hi Marina, you are certainly welcome to share fossils you bought, as long as you are confident that the information is accurate. Would you mind if we translate the lithostratigraphy into English text? This will make it easier for the community to find your specimen in the database. Also, I wanted to confirm, are the two photos of the same specimen with different lighting or are they two separate specimens? Thank you for sharing your fossils!

I couldn’t find a preexisting translation, since the place seems to be pretty obscure in English part of the Internet, so I included both the transliterations and Russian names. The data should be accurate, but I am not sure if I accurately put the names in the “group” and “member” categories, because I am not really familiar with lithostratigraphic unit equivalents in my native language. I only know that the word “свита” (svita) is the equivalent of “formation”.

And yes, this is the same specimen. I just wanted to show the texture of the leaf and took a picture at a different angle.
