Hi @Kevin-Kelly! @VPerez or @Bill-Heim should be able to help you with specimen identification.
Hard to say for sure since it’s broken, but looks like Physogaleus contortus.
Has serrations, but the image angle and the damage make it hard to ID. Possible Physogaleus symphyseal tooth but I am not anything close to sure.
Hi @Kevin-Kelly, I think the best thing to do here is to change the taxonomy to reflect Physogaleus sp.
Same issue here, selecting “Physogaleus contortus” w/taxon wizard autopopulates the info for “Galeocerdo contortus”
I think our best bet is to manually type it in in these situations. Thanks for letting me know about this problem!
