Could this potentially be part of a basilosaurus tooth?
I don’t think basilosaurus… what is the background of the area you found it?

the time period fits then. but I doubt that it’s whale tooth. if it is, maybe a dorudon?
That would make sense because the tooth of a dorudon do look very similar to this tooth!
This is promising news because a dorudon or any fossil whale teeth have ever been found in Lee on solent
This must be a groundbreaking and super rare find!
