    • Hi there. So this is either a peice of cement or a conglomerate. See how there are smaller rocks in the rock? It is neither a skull nor bone. Skulls have multiple bones and bones would have striations/scarring from muscles.

    • this looks like the head of a humerus

    • This is actually the distal end of the femur. It looks more like cow or bison. Dinos don’t have those divots on the condyles. Also, generally speaking, most dinosaur bone is permineralized meaning the pore space in the bone is filled.

    • Hi Oscar. I’m sorry to tell you this but I think you have a rock called a conglomerate. There are a lot of large pebels in this piece meaning that it formed in a high energy environment like a fast moving river. Generally speaking, these sorts of rocks are bad for preserving fossils because because the water current tends to break most remains.

    • Thanks for for the input but take a closer look at it it has its eye close on the other side of the fossil u can see it’s feet I’m familiar with the type of rock your speaking of these is not one of them I’ll prove it to you once I’m done cleaning it I really appreciate your input thank you

    • I agree with @mackenzie-smith, @oscar-velasco. It’s a strange looking conglomerate rather than a fossil.

    • I’m still cleaning it when I started with this piece it look nothing like what it does now I can guarantee you it’s not what u think it is I’ll upload some more pics of the other side so u can see it’s feet there visible

Copper tray dated back to 1800- 1820 I founded it while digging in Hollywood the tray seems to have a symbol in the middle of it of what looks like to be a lizard wearing a sombrero and it also has a rip down the middle that looks like it was made by a claw of some kind it’s origins are unknown what it was use for is also unknown I think it was a tool to tell time if anyone can help identifying this Artifact I will really appreciate it

    • Hi, @oscar-velasco – you may have come to the wrong place. This app is mostly for paleontological finds – so fossils rather than artifacts (archaeological). Is there a local natural history museum near you? That may be the best source of information for this type of thing.

    • Thank u for the info but I also have fossils but I’m not ready to post I’m very familiar with the natural history museum professor Wong is the head director of the paleontologist there

    • @oscar-velasco – that’s great! I’m sure Professor Wong has a colleague in archaeology that may be of assistance for this piece! I look forward to seeing your fossil finds!
