3 years, 3 months ago3 years, 3 months agoRaptor tooth I got for Christmas. It came with a card that I lost but I remember it say that it came from Morocco. Any thoughts on what raptor this is #fossil
-
there are no raptors in Morocco, so it is probably from a different animal. Morocco is rich in mosasaur teeth for example.
-
It can be a Spinosaurus tooth that it shaded because there are a lot of spinosaurus in morrco and North Africa
-
From buried treasure fossils.com- “Abelisaurid – are the dinosaur teeth originally misidentified as a “Raptor” dinosaur from the Cretaceous Kem Kem deposits, and their teeth continue to be sold as raptor teeth by many dealers.” Don’t know how reputable the site is, but there’s some info I guess.
