it looks a lot like the glossopteris fossils I find around Newcastle. great little fossils, but they are plants. perhaps not what you want to hear… don’t worry, I’m not an expert.

looks like glossoptera leaves. do you get them in the states?
metamorphic rock which does not contain fossils except in extremely rare cases. Unfortunately this is not one.
