2 years, 9 months ago2 years, 9 months agoIs it in a big crack in the parent rock? I’m not an expert but it looks like an igneous intrusion. Magma was being forced up from the mantle into the crust, and it pushed its way into fractures like the one shown here, then cooled to form this rock that stands out compared to the other rocks. Just a guess!
