3 years, 7 months ago3 years, 7 months agoAnd last but certainly not least… Nanotyrannus! Irritator! Ornitholestes! Vulcanodon! A tribute to my favourite dinosaurs… First up spinosaurus! Also do you guys agree with the ‘new’ 2014 remodel of spinosaurus? #event
If it lived mostly in water would it have feather coverings?
now in 2020 there was yet another remodel, showing it with a salamander like tail for swimming
@a-trilobite of all the theropods, the spinosaurs are always the ones that paleoartists are still unsure over whether or not to show with feathers. if they did have them, they were probably like that of penguins and otters. waterproof and hydrodynamic
@smudge-smith are you saying that there’s people who still think it was bipedal? I’m pretty sure that the 2014 remodel has been considered accurate for half a decade
NOBODY argues that anymore. that’s old news
*also, ornitholestes didn’t really have a nose crest
I know ornitholestes didn’t have a nose crest @leonardo-miranda but it was the first image on Google I could find(that had a background)
ummm… @leonardo-miranda I am doing more research about the 2014 model mainly because when I saw a viedo about it a few months ago I was so put off as before spino was my FAVOURITE Dino. also it doesn’t look as cool., 😂one day I’ll admit… 🙄
admittedly, it’s not as badass as Jurassic Park made us think. Still, it’s the biggest theropod dinosaur ever
l think nanotyrannus is now thought to have just been a juvenile Tyrannosaurus
I know that also I was nano was baby I just still used to love it when I was younger so I can’t get Iver my sadness😭
over
well, there’s always the proceratosaurs
I guess…
