4 months ago4 months agoI know what you mean, but horn coral fossils are made of calcium carbonate, which is grey. I’m not sure what this material is, maybe iron, but if it is a fossil of something it’s not a horn coral.

10 months, 3 weeks ago10 months, 3 weeks agoThis is interesting for sure, but I’m not sure it’s a trilobite. There’s no head, and there’s not even three segments. The whole left side of the photo looks like random bryozoans, and the two patterns on the right and center I think are cephalopods, likely orthocones (you can see a siphuncle in the center one, it’s that circle at the bottom)
